I would like to take a second to give a BIG thanks to "The Smoke Ring" and all the members who gave me input on my first project. This is the final product and after some practice I was asked to BBQ for a friends 40th birthday party. 12 racks of Ribs and 2 twelve pound Briskits. All came out great. The BBQ ran like a champ. Used some lump to start and smoked with Hickory (Good Stuff)
Thanks again
James

Great looking pitt my friend you did a real nice job on it.

It don't get much better than that, building your own pitt and then
seeing the final results.

That looks fantstic James, excellent job, well done!
You've saved me a lot of aggro trying to decide how to make mine as I have a similar-sized gas cylinder and now know what to do with it!
