This is an add on post to the "what kind of wood is this"
The person I picked this up from had a lot more than I could get in one run. He has a ton more, and will have another tree to cut down.
If you want to pick it up, it is in his driveway.
Address is 11458 S Sweet Cherry Ln, Jacksonville Fl, 32225

http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/zip/368199174.html

He is looking for anyone to pick this up asap... if no one else, guess I will go get the rest (if I can find room for it!!!)
wife loves me already for storing it on the back porch!

If its a hard wood it should be alright, never heard of this kinda tree, but you should let it season out for awhile, if you have a chimenya burn some and see what kinda smoke you get, but for God sake don't burn it while its green....

posted an earlier post regarding this wood, and it is a hickory wood, so it should be ok. Will wait for it to season, for sure.

Just asking, because the guy I got mine from is itching to get rid of the rest of it!

I am surprised no one wants it!
