Did anyone else go to this event? Some pics: (Sorry, they're from a smartphone, all I had)

Cowboys is actually using Cowboy...

Sampled ribs from one vendor, and ribs & pulled pork from another. I'd have loved to sample *all* the Q, but the lines for the individual booths were too long. I waited in line probably 30 min for the first line, and 30 more for the 2nd.

The Q was pretty good.

Wasn't a contest. Web site: http://www.phantomgourmet.com - just an event held yearly. First time I've been. I don't think there was any judging. Lots of Q, and it was cool to see the various cookers and methods they were using.

I was there too on Sunday. The food was food the lines were not. Here is a photo of me behind the grill of the Kentucky BBQ pit. My friend asked the guy if I could stand behind there for 2 seconds and he was cool with it. Hopefully next time they do this there will be more q vendors to ease the lines.
