Got back from Lubbock with a 1/2 cord of post oak and a 1/2 cord of pecan about 1 1/2 weeks ago... Had my first chance to put it to task this weekend with 8 pork butts and my DPP Fat 50.... Ooooooooooh-weeeeee, did they ever taste wonderful!!!
Thanks a million to all of you Central Texas folks who knew just what I was looking for (in terms of the right type of oak)!!! _________________ Dr. Mike
