Smokey Joe's Smokers - Anyone know anything about them?

Thanks -it's nice to be home...went to Michigan and Indiana - never seen so much corn !! Anyway, hope you guys here some news soon and get your toys asap...what to cook this weekend !?! ABT's and ??

Well you should consider cooking chicken, ribs, pork butt, and brisket.

Drag that new cooker down to AOB. They still have a few openings.

If not, come by and introduce yourself. Keri C, Mike(Smokadelic), and I are within the first 10 spaces south of the drive.

Well, I'm surprised there are openings...figured that wasn't a possibility ! Thanks for the invite- I'll be down this evening to check it out around 7:30...gotta work tomorrow so tonight's the night ! Looks like the weather may cooperate too ! and not so hot ! I'll look for the badboy Klose !

Well, had a great time visiting all at the AOB and just pumps me up to maybe join in and cook at some of these ! Folks were having FUN ! Met Jeff and Mike and saw Patrick again and looks like a crowd to be seen with.....that is, the people our parents warned us about ! Laughing

saw a old Joe's Caterer like mine and glad to have the newer version... Shocked

..wish you could have been there too vexter and Hillbilly !!

Sure would like to have some of that rain here. Dry as a bone here. Been here all my life never seen it this dry. Has anyone heard from or talked to Joe lately?

Tried both numbers today. Office VM was ok, cell was full. Decided to send an email. If I don't hear back I'll try his cell later this week.

Last estimate when I talked with him on 7/2, was that he was going to start on 7/5 and complete end of the following week. So I'm figuring he may have started at this point.

Let you know when I find out.

I tried him first of the week VM siad he was on a delivery and cell VM was full. I emailed too. He has not told me yet when he will be starting mine

yeah, he needs a manager, or as my friend Jeff Hughes suggested, he needs a delivery driver so he can keep on producing ! he's been doing it so long now I wonder if he remembers how much excitement it is to order a new toy and then, #1, get updates and then GET it....but, when Hoggy was waiting it was a daughter, and with me it was labor ( different type Laughing

) , and now serious bad weather...just been a timing thing I guess...vexter1, did you get yours ?

Yes , I have kept calls and emails to a minimum. I do get hold of him live or email every few weeks, and keep it short. Email response yesterday says he's still piled up - mine is started and should complete end of this week early next. I won't get to excited just yet. I'll check back with him in a week or so if I don't hear from him

rbenash, what did you order ? it's been so long I forgot...patio ? patio's were the 1st in line he'd said before the weather struck.. our weather is normal (!) and hot again so hopefully he's back on track !!

Pretty well customized Patio. I'm pretty sure he started the run on the more standard ones without as many options. That's my opinion. He mentioned early on that he had a fairly large number of Patio's that he was going to be running thru. If you look back in my previous posts you'll see the list of options.
