Hey bobbque, Whats up? Hey do you have the Fish Fryer on your rig? If so is it round or square or round? If square what size is the surface?

Yeah, it's a square stand...not home yet to measure it, are you thinking of adding one ? works pretty good, I've only been cooking corn and shrimp boil in it so far....oil's kinda messy, but it is a nice addition...are you getting the propane starter on your rig ? I like mine - baby puts out the flame !!

By the way its worded on his web site about the lake modle it comes with all that in the price. And I ask him whin I frist placed my order if that all came in one price and he said yeah. Does it come with a square pot too? I was looking at one of these http://www.bqgrills.com/Accessory%20Page%20Pig%20Cookers.htm. I have emailed Joe to see if the Cooking surface could be made 15"x15" with a raised lip.

You are never going to get your pit...

I bet every change sets you back another week or two...

(Just kidding, sorta?)

He DID exist ! my money WAS safe ! I really really GOT my new toy ! and it was NICE ! and just 5 wks longer than I thought.... Laughing Yes Hillbilly, good things come to those who wait, and wait...my pan ( to get to the question...) is a round one, square stand, round pan.....excuse my local BBQ'ers who HAVE their toys already and revel in the fact that this, this JOE guy possibly ENJOYS putting people thru the ritual, all created by too much business and not NEAR enough help...! Cool Laughing Confused ...but that is why it's sooooo reasonable price wise!?

Some spots are a little bigger than 20 x 20...and some aren't. 20 x 20 gives you enough room for 2 10 x 10 ez ups and your cooker, or your truck, an ez up, and your cooker. Will be best to plan on getting there earlier in the day for ease of maneuvering. Wink

Well, I'd like to put my bid in to be near you and/or Jeff and/or Patrick..but luck of the draw on that I imagine...if that's all the room, I guess the truck will have to go SOMEwhere else...

never have - don't find it much around here...I'd imagine it would be best just with lump....I want to try apple too but we're just around mostly oak, pecan, and hickory. I use mostly hickory, or like with chicken mostly pecan and lump...it's beautiful here ! waiting to hear that Joe has called ya !

I bought a boat load of cherry a year or so ago. Still using it. The thing that was nice about it is that is is cut offs from a cabinet shop. So all 3/4 inch think or so and 1 inch to 3 or so inches wide and all abut 12 inches or so long. Already pretty much in stick form which is nice.

I use it for burning down to coals as the main heat source during a cook, but rather add hickory or oak as the spice/smoke. I found that using cherry for the smoke was not to my liking. The smoke from it is too sooty for me and takes a bit longer to settle out to white/blue. As a coal source though it's been great.
