Hows it going everyone. I just joined a couple days ago and I was just looking threw the different threads and it sounds like people here know what they are talking about. I am leaning toward a culinary arts major, but I love to bbq. Part of me wants to own a bbq joint and the other wants a fansy restaurant and to be well known. Im interested in learning more techniques for bbq.

No just the one joint would have the famous bbq. The other restaurant would have top of the line food.

Maybe things like filet mignon or steak. Didn't really think it through. I want to get through college first to learn some more about different cuisines. I had a course in high school that I got to go to a restaurant and cook for them for free (internship). It is a goal of mine that I would like to accomplish, that or a bbq joint. Do you have your own restaurant i live down in Allen and im looking for a bbq restaurant to work in to get a little more experience in the field.
