I was looking at NakedWhiz for the ratings of Royal Oak, and noticed that they have at least three different types of RO. The reviews stated that the type sold at GFS was made from Argentina Hardwoods, and shows how to identify how you know its from Argentina. Well the stuff I bought at Gordens says made in the USA, made from oak, maple, hickory and other hardwoods. Neither does it have any of the Argentina product marks on it.
Does anyone purchase RO from Gordens? If so which charcoal does it match up with on NakedWhiz?
Thanks,
Joel |

I bought 20 lbs of Royal Oak from GFS (Gordons Food Service). It was made in Argentina, and I think it's better than what's made domestically. The pieces are bigger and it seems to burn longer. I think it smokes rather well.
