Well I catered the event I posted about a few days ago...the one with FOUR appetizers (4 dozen each) of Oysters, stuffed Jalapenos, ABT's & brats.

Aside from the POURING DOWN RAIN right at serving time.....
All went VERY fast except for the brats only about half of those got eaten. I think just too big. I put them on a stick kind of like a corndog (sorry cordog Laughing ) but I think just too much. Maybe I will cut them in half next time.

For the main course...we served Brisket, chicken and ribs. The brisket was GONE before we left. they had a few ribs left and quite a bit of chicken (as always, chicken is always the last to go).

For the sides...Baked beans, slaw & potato salad....the beans were gone when we left also.

This gig was at a home that over looks the Puget Sound (VERY upscale). The hostess called in the AM saying due to the weather, going to move party to her "NEW" garage. I said, "Ok, no problem, we can do that". Well we get there and the darn 'garage' is NICER that most homes I have seen...

The light fixtures on the front of the garage (she tells me) cost OVER $400.00 EACH!!! and there were FOUR of them.. Rolling Eyes

They had the party upstairs of the garage part....There they have a studio type appt. (but nobody lives in there) Kitchen, wet bar, bathroom and day bed...HUGE Wish I would of had that kind of studio appt over a garage when I went to college... Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Here is pic of garage....

Looks like a place that I could call "home" very easily. Talk about "upscale"!!
