What's a bull roast or what constitutes a bull roast? How is it served and with what?
(I know ... I know ... damn newbies, right?)

Round these parts it's basically pit beef. Any type of beef will do Round top chuck but it is know when and how to not only cook each piece it is in the slicing of the meat that matters. But you could do just briskette or just round. What ever you like. This may vary from area to area as do all BBQ's. I've heard of a whole side going on a smoker too. Now that is a big Que there! _________________ The only thing consistant in BBQ is, it is always the Judges fault!

I think the more common name for what you are looking for is "Steer Roast"
I forget which president it was, But he always hosted a huge annaul BBQ party. and he would have a steer on a spit for the crowd to see as they arrived. And it turns out, that that steer was only for show, and the guests were served meat prepared in other manners.
I have gotten a card for an invite to a Donkey roast, and it even said everyone was gauranteed a "Piece of ass"! _________________ Just remember that the toes you may step on during your climb to the top will also be attached to the a$$es you'll be forced to kiss on your way back down! |

I believe it was Lyndon Johnson. He was big on BBQ, and was from Texas, Steer country.
