I hope so too, she just called and I told her she got the french bread wrong, it was NOT $4.99 EACH person but $4.99 each LOAF and each loaf will feed approx 10 guests.
So instead of $1497.00 for french bread, it would only be $149.70..BIG difference.
There were a couple of other minor changes. but for the most part still intact. She asked me to 'pencil' her in and she will contact me monday to finalize everything... _________________ Often imitated but never duplicated |

Also, I already have 2 other bookings on that same day...1 is a wedding for 100, the other is a party for 50. So this will put my THIRD smoker to good use...IF I wind up getting the job.. _________________ Often imitated but never duplicated |

Damn, that's a nice chunk of change for one party.
I must ask this as I do not charge people gratuity for any of my jobs.
Do you ever give this back if they are not happy with the food? _________________ Alex

NEVER had that problem...so....NO
Over 80% of my business is either repeat or refferal business if that tells you anything.. _________________ Often imitated but never duplicated |

Good question Alex!
I don't charge a mandatory gratuity either (discussed here at length already), but I did raise prices this year by $.95 for my basic menu listings.
Like Marv, most of my business is repeat or refferral as well, but that takes time to develop for any of you that are new to this business.
Heck, I do parties where the bill isn't even $1576.00 for the whole TOTAL! Nice extra chunk of change Marv! _________________ BBQMAN
