I just got the call to feed the family the Saturday of the weekend before Memorial weekend.
32 and counting, ribs, pulled pork, and brats have been requested, along with 2 types of slaw, 2 types of jello salad, (well we are in UT), and a potato salad too!
8 racks of ribs @ 3 ribs/ person, 2 butts to about 17 lbs uncooked, 4 doz brats. They are all meat eaters and I am only doing dinner, with leftovers being added to lunch on Sunday.
I'm thinking $8.00 a head, all adults, (my kids can eat out of my plate) should cover it, yes I know it is lower than it could be, but part of it is donating my time to the family while showing them what I can do. _________________ Here's a change Robert.

I think that is very reasonable...At least will get your costs back and yes, 'show what you can do'....Sounds like me!! I think a lot of my family USED to wonder how I could EVER make a living out of BBQ.. I HOPE after 13 years, they no longer wonder. _________________ Often imitated but never duplicated |

Great deal, and it sounds like fun!
Got two parties similar to that for family and friends as my season starts to wind down. More for fun, and less for profit, but that's O.K.! _________________ BBQMAN
