well i must thank all of you who where so quick to help me i am just about 2 hours into my rib smoke and i got the temp down finally about 275 a bit higher than what it should be i know but all of you advice helped a ton. the mod link was also great info the model i have is a bit different where some of the mods have been done by brinkmann.

so can any of you suggest a better smoker that will be better for me out of the box? i wanted a side box chargriller but at the time i didn't have the money. so putting that aside if i start saving now what would be the way to go for next year?

I have had my chargriller pro for 3 years now and I tell you what It ROCKS!!! i made some mods to it but for the price I tell you what it puts out some awesome Q!! Well that and the fact I have read ALOT of stuff from here to help me along the way.
