How huch do you all figure for sides per person?
1/2 cup per person for Mac and or Tator salad?
Cooking for my brothers wedding party of 100 witnesses.
Recipes i got said...1/2 cup for mac, 2/3 cup for tator salad?
Brother is really stressed out on this one i said "hey a pulled pork sammie, beans and a pickle would do". But they want more. |

| Typically when I'm doing a catering I will figure 4 to 5 oz per person you would need to have 30 lbs of tater salad and 30 lbs of mac. This should be more than enough for the guest.. |

I use 4 oz. I use an 'icecream' scoop for my tater salad. Just scoop and flip the litte lever and 'plop' it on the plate...works great. You can get these in various sizes. I also use a 4 oz serving spoon for my beans. For green salads and slaw....wing it.. _________________ Often imitated but never duplicated |

We use the 4-5 oz rule for most sides too. _________________ 3 PIGS BBQ AND CATERING
