No because then your competition can't low ball your bid later. Thats why you should go for 50% and not $100 deposit. If I was your competition I would knock off $100 just to get the gig, if it was big enough. _________________ Thanks,

If you have two competing for a date and neither one has yet paid, I would phone them both, and say I have someone else looking for the same date, the first to get the check in my hand secures the date, just as a giddy up.
If you are cappable of catering 2 at a time, then I would employ the same phone tactic if there were 3 gigs looking for the day, etc. _________________ Here's a change Robert.
