that reminds me of something I have seen here in atlanta that I wouldnt mind getting in on...Catering tailgate parties at the stadiums. I think that ALex has done atleast one of those and I know that there is a company in Atlanta that does it...seems like a decent idea...those prices seem a little stiff, but not that bad. get to the stadium bright and early and start cooking. serve lunch and depending on kickoff maybe a late afternoon snack/meal. Wouldnt be bad for the big games...
I wouldnt dream of doing it for UGA games(I have to carter my own tailgate party) but for falcons and braves games I wouldnt mind doing it... |

Not a bad idea. We grilled out before a HS FB game (HUGE here in TX) in November and we had folks walking up trying to buy burgers and brisket sandwiches from us. I ended up with 10-15 burgers and brisket sandwiches left over that I just gave away (I couldn't possibly think of selling them...then ). I made a lot of new friends!!! |

Yea, always your 'friend' when there is FREE food invloved..
I give BBQ to 'some' of my neighbors all the time...the ones that respond later with a "thank you" get more...the ones that don't can 'kiss my grits'
I don't expect $$$ but a nice thank you goes a long ways.. _________________ Often imitated but never duplicated |
