Marv's Mission statement....

I have been trying to come up with a 'Mission Statement' for a while now. So far, this is what I have come up with...what do you think?

Mission Statement

To promote the culture of authentic southern style cuisine through our
unique catered menu & events.

Our story

You crane your neck and look quizzically at the pitmaster as he manipulates the smoldering fire. He opens the giant steel door and carefully checks today's offerings; Hand rubbed Texas Brisket of Beef, Sweet-Meat Carolina Pulled Pork, Juicy chicken and smoked-baked beans.

Your stomach growls, your mouth waters...

Welcome to authentic Southern-style Pit BBQ by Marv’s Marvlus Pit Bar-B-Q INC.
Since 1994, we have been spreading the gospel of real, wood-fired bbq. We produce unique catered affairs, offering bbq products from juicy 1/3lbs hamburgers to barbecued steak, & Prime Rib. Our specialty and passion remains the slow-smoked meats and traditional side dishes that became famous in the south way before most of us were even born.

Marv’s Marvlus Pit Bar-B-Q INC. is a bbq caterer. We provide cooked on-site event catering.

We are completely mobile and serve year around. “Any time, Any location, Any event” has been our motto all along and has been put to the test on a number of occasions.

Marv, it's a good start, but how about instead of the phrase "Mission Statement", you put "Our Primise to you..." I think the word "Promise" is more personal than "Mission", and after all, we are in the business to build personal relationships so that they turn into repeat business...As far as the rest of the text, it's all a matter of personal preference as to how you want it to flow...But great idea and something I have been wanting to add to our site for a while...

Hey Marv,

Wonderfull set up I am jelous and wish I had a site like that.And a buisness for that fact. But I thought I would point out in credo #6 You state "CREDO #6 We promise read every comment card and e-mail sent our way with heartfelt concern."

Shouldn't that be "We promise "TO" read............

Or mabey I am reading it wrong?
