Hello from a new member in the rainy Willamette Valley of Oregon. I'm looking forward to finding wisdom in the smoke of those who have gone before me.

While I imagine some may snort or scoff, I have a small Traeger that I bought last year. Short version is that it works for me.

I'm interested in locating lower cost pellets. All tips appreciated.

Welcome to the ring sugerbyrds. One thing you will not find here is somebody dissing you for your smoker. It's not that kind of party. As long as the Q is good. That's what matters. Plenty of good tips and pics so you can see what people are talking about.

I'm from the nothern part of the valley, and own 2 texan's from Traeger. i like the treagers so much I bought my son a lil'Tex. I found the 20lb bags of Pellets as low as $8.00 and the average is $10.00. do not buy from Home Hearth And grill EVERY bag i bought from them in an emergancy had a taped over hole in it Mad

and ofcourse they had their demo treager always going. cheep beeoches.
