Hello all!

I just wanted to make an introductory post and say that I just purchased a pit of my own this past weekend and can't wait to use it.

I have been in bbq competitions for about 4 years now, and always used a friend's pit. Now I have my own and can't wait to experiment with new techniques and recipes!

I have browsed some of the different posts, and I look forward to participating in this awesome forum!

I have a Diamond Plate FAT 50 smoker with steamer system.
