just starting out, kind of. i am making myself a smoker from scratch. a design of my own, atleast i think so. slowly pieceing it together.
always loved me some bbq just trying now to make it myself in a larger quantity without breaking the bank.

still waiting for my cooking surface. and then i can fire it up for real.
have done some trial runs though. good flow overall. have to figure out how to seal my doors better. i have more pics but wasnt sure what to show.

I know what ya mean about chicago BBQ...it blows. Sweet Baby Rays...Famous Freakin' Dave....yuck
So that means guys like us have to learn the right way and carry on tradition. I drove all the way out to Kansas City to get a pitmaster's certificate....drove out to Iowa to become a KCBS judge.
Folks I have met from downstate Il Mo, Ia and Ks don't really care where we're from, as long as we uphold tradition.
