Yeah, "bone in butt" does sound pretty bad .
That's what some places label a pork shoulder around here, because the blade hasn't been removed. Maybe they should reconsider .
It sure is good to see we're "lighting" up on this topic. _________________ "Tag line? We don't need no stinkin' tag line!"

Thought you had some 007 extending wings and a jet pack out back.. |
No, no, no, it's only going to have tank tracks and a reconfigured stack to be a potato gun. Wait, if I use 1/4 scale r/c airplane wings and two weed burners... |
Brian, I really don't doubt this at all
Chargriller should be doing a special on you and all the mods made -- you have got to be one of their best customers. I can't wait to finally see food p*rn pics -- of course after the biscuit cook test (have plenty of butter and jelly as they get ready). |
Thanks, but most of the mods came from the previous work by the guys tweaking the Brinkmans and Charbroils. The rotisserie charcoal baskets are original and I think I'm one of the few to document 10" or 13" pnuematic wheels, but I won't claim to be the originator of that mod.
I do have one or two mods still up my sleeve that will be original!
I do have a lot of fun tinkering and designing the mods... Kind of like the guys that build custom street rods, then sell them as soon as there done so they can start the next project. _________________ My highly tweaked Char-Griller Smokin' Pro died many years ago... my Weber Kettle gave us 20 years of great food... I'm gona ignore the little side journey and talk about what's important FOOD Just got a chance to use the charbroil as a grill and it did a right fine job at making some new york strip steaks. I was originally going to use the firebox to do the grilling, but I can't seem to get the grill rack to go in and out of tha thing very easily. Seems like it is too big for the opening, ah well that's really just for me to build my fires in anyways right? So I did my grillng in the main chamber and everything worked out perfect. Now I really need to copy boilermaker weldless charcoal box plan to prep for the net smoke session. |

A pic is posted in my updated thread and you can send me a PM with any other questions.
Oh, mine was made from a 24" x 24" square piece of 16ga expanded metal. I only made four cuts so I could wrap it around the sides for reinforcement. _________________ My highly tweaked Char-Griller Smokin' Pro died many years ago... my Weber Kettle gave us 20 years of great food...
