I have more than 26 truck loads of pecan wood knocked down by hurricane Mathew. I never throw anything away when it comes to pecan wood I use everything from the tiny limbs to stump logs up to three feet In diameter. I split my wood into manageable pieces leaving the bark on have found that lumps work real good like four inches thick and six inches long.
