Howdy folks, I've always used Norton antivirus, have for years. One day a week or so ago I clicked on the Smoke Ring on the favorites bar and got this:
"Dangerous Website Blocked
You attempted to access:
http://www.thesmokering.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=30
This is a known dangerous website. It is recommended that you do NOT visit this site. The detailed report explains the security risks on this site.
For your protection, this web page has been blocked. Visit Symantec to learn more about phishing and internet security."
I spend most of my life in hotels, using their wifi. Never had any issues (that I know of) before. I've been at this one since July. I'm not very computer smart, and I don't have any idea why I would get this message all of a sudden, Any thoughts?
Thanks, _________________ Mike |

We have been attacked by hackers posting phishing website files for a Brazilian bank. This got us branded as a dangerous site by Google. Please let me know if you're still having this problem. _________________ Eat first, ask questions later! |

Thank you Garry, I am still having the problem. I've been ignoring the warning and clicking on the "visit this web page anyway." link. Am I asking for trouble by doing so? _________________ Mike |

Thanx Rick. You're right, I do have windows 10. I use firefox when I get online. Which settings? Computer, browser, or norton? I'm not very smart when it comes to computer stuff, I appreciate all the help I can get. Thanx again, _________________ Mike |

Careful now, . . . .some of the wives (and "not wives") on here actually encourage spending some quality time on TSR!!
It's one of my favorite places! _________________
