I'm gonna make some deer burger and breakfast sausage which I will freeze,is there any need of putting cure in this since I will freeze it?

I made several different recipes of venison sausage last year, and from memory they all had cure in them. I saw the recipe book a couple of days ago, I'll look for it tomorrow.

Not unless you plan on fermenting or cold-smoking the meat.

The purpose of cure is to fend off harmful bacteria while meat is held between 40-140 degrees such as fermenting and smoking at low temps
