Brisket price....crazy

I know this topic has come up many times....but the price of brisket in my parts is out of this world.
I see alot of you guys paying in the $2.50 to 3.75 a lb range.
Yesterday I must have took a bump on the head for paying what I did.

Yes thats $6.95 a lb....almost 16 pounds.

Ouch! That's too bad that the brisket prices are so high in your area, Rick Crying or Very sad

Prime packers are going for around $3/lb at Costco here.

Course, you'll forget all about the price you paid when you're sitting on the back porch with a glass of rum, a stogie and a belly full of delicious brisket. Very Happy

Regular price is around $4.75 in my part of town and im never happy paying that much Dan.....the cheapest i have ever seen brisket was $3.75.... and that was one time.😄

I am cooking 10 briskets next weekend for a friend. We went to HEB to get them as they are going for 1.97 lb. In the group were two 13 lb. primes mis-marked from 3.97 lb. to the 1.97 lb. We scored big time. Very Happy

You guys are killing me with those numbers......now I just have to be on the lookout for a half decent day to babysit a brisket.

This is Canada and winter is setting in fast.....I could cook it on my BGE with no effort....but when it comes to the big cuts of meat.....
I feel my stickburner puts out the BBQ I crave for. Very Happy
