The boss is joining tomorrow for a BBQ. He's not down with brisket and pig. I have two decent sized salmon fillets to cook up for him.
Never done it before...
Any suggestions on how and how long to cook??? |

You might try the brown bag method, use indirect grilling place the salmon on the bag. Just google brown bag salmon for details. _________________ Rod |

I usually cook salmon one of two ways. For smoked salmon, I use this brine recipe http://salmonuniversity.com/archives/582
I then smoke it at 160* for about an 1 1/2 hours until the IT reaches 130*
For dinner, I like to soak a cedar plank for about 30 min and grill the fillet, seasoned with lemon pepper, on the plank over med-high coals for about 20 min or so, depending on the thickness of the fillet, until the IT reaches 125-130*
I hope this helps _________________ save the neck for me, Clark - Cousin Eddie |
