So another question about bacon. My local restaurant depot has cured bacon slabs. I want to buy one and smoke it myself any ideas on how I can do this w/maple syrup? _________________ Yeah Baby BBQ! |

I'm betting those slabs are cured & smoked, So there's really nothing to work with there.
To get proper flavor penetration, you need to maple syrup in your curing mixture of a raw belly _________________ Just remember that the toes you may step on during your climb to the top will also be attached to the a$$es you'll be forced to kiss on your way back down! |
