Anybody ever lease any equipment for your restaurant? Good or bad? Upsides , downsides?

Why? Buy used and no debt. Any restaurant equipment you would lease has a long lifespan. Check Craigslist and google restaurant auctions in your area. Ebay also is a good option. Check sold items on ebay to see what items are really selling for. Under completed listings on left side bar.

I'm siding with Charlie on this.

A lease may work for some things, but the long term cost is obnoxious when you add it all up, you may be paying double or triple the value of the equipment over time with a lease.

Now a dish machine, I believe a lease is the best way to go on that unless you find a used one for a great price.

I use craigslist, eBay, all sorts of stuff then use LTL freight to get it here cheaply.

My pit, CVAP's, slicer, all were craigslist finds, and LTL freight to get them here. (uship.com)
