We probably did suckaass, but I'm an old southern boy and chicken and dumplings is like crack. Shocked

Matter of fact I got a partial whole chicken in the fridge, some chicken stock, and I might just have to have a go at it. Very Happy

oh, we did. Very Happy I was referring to the soup threads that were going around the General Discussion area this last winter. Very Happy

As far as chicken and dumplings goes, I'm a big fan and that was actually one of the first things I made in my D.O.

Unfortunately, I ran out of the stock I made from the Thanksgiving turkey. I guess that's a good excuse to smoke another bird and make some more soup in the D.O.
I think i'll give 1960hikerdude's recipe a try this time. Looks pretty good.
