Has anyone had a hard time trying to bring griddle up to full temp in windy conditions. My average temp was 275/300.At first I thought it was a low tank, changed out same thing. With all burners on high, flame did not look that high and had alittle flickering with it,color of flame was normal looking,as I slowly turn off burners right to left flame height did increase, when I turn them back on flame decreased. This is my 5th time to use the grill so I am not real sure on flame height.like I said it was rather windy. Not sure if others have had problems with wind.

I have mine to where no wind can get to it. I have to keep my burners on low for most everything I cook. Otherwise it gets way to Hot.

Has the grill been hanging out in a garage or shed?

You quite often get spiders in the hoses or in the burners, so clean out your burners and your hoses, then try again.

A good grill / griddle should be getting up into the 500 - 600°.

one more thing to try is shut off all burners shut the tank off. Then SLOWLY turn on the tank...the tank has a safety that puts it in low flow if it is turned on with a burner on. My pizza oven does the same thing if turned on to fast with a burner on.
