I need a suggestion on the best high temp wire to run by my fire box to the taillights?

Thanks!

If it is not touching the firebox 14 gauge THHN will probably work. It is good to about 190°.

any way to go under the trailer or re-route to the other side and pass back at the rear of the trailer? Conduit would act as a heat shield, and most fire rated wire wire has a 1450° F rating (but that is for two hours) - it will have the letters FPL (fire, power limited) on it, but I wouldn't run it close to a firebox that was going to be in use hours on end. not exposed anyways.

JM2C. If re-route isn't possible I would look at the FPL cable.

hope that helps,

You can also buy braided asbestos sleeves at most
parts houses to slide over the wires...
