Was at a scrap metal place today..

Found a 200 gallon Air compressor tank.. About 30" in diameter and almost 6ft long..

Could have bought it for $50..

Now i am cruising Craigslist looking for a cheapo trailer.. Damn if I didnt find a decent one for $350..

I would have to buy a bigger welder.. And cutting torch..

I dont have time for another project, getting a black lab puppy in 3 weeks,.. Most weekends are already booked thru xmas..

But I reallywant to build one..

For 50 bucks definitely worth investing in and storing away for a later time. I picked up a 120 gallon tank almost 2 years ago. It's sitting in the weeds just waiting for me to get to it. Go for it!!!!

Not sure about the trailer but I would be all over that tank. Like Mike said find a home for it and stow it till time allows you to build it. If you recall I got my pipe and plate for my recent build almost two years ago.

Yep, scoring your materials may be all you can do during a busy stretch in your schedule, but it'll be there ready for you as time permits. Forgot exactly how long my build took but it was several years, worth the wait. Absolutely love cooking on my rig!

Go ahead and buy the parts, they will give you something to do in the spring. Very Happy
