I think it is kid approved! 12 hours and it is finally done.

I did two butts and a fattie today, injected them with apple juice and rubbed them last night.

Smoked em with sugar maple and spritzed them with apple juice and bourbon.






and that my friends is all that matters.

actually that was the best one i have done yet. i smoked two of them today. the other will live in the freezer whole for a little while.

You've got quite the cheerleading squad there. What I always say is there ain't no such thing as bad pulled pork (assuming it pulled); there's just some better than others.

I like the apple, Bourbon finish idea.

yea, same around here. If my adult kids get wind that I am cooking they seem to come out of the woodwork for some great Q.

Yea same here, I have 7 (almost Cool grandkids but only the twins live in our town...others are 2 hrs away. Crying or Very sad But the twins are 3 and a girl and a boy...the girl will at least TRY most anything and LOVES BBQ but the boy will not even TRY most things...does like hotdogs (only boiled) and noodles. Oh well, still time to convince him that BBQ is GOOD for him.. Laughing

my little guy can be picky. i tell him it will give him big muscles if he eats it.
one day he told me they were big enough, so i flexed my muscle and ask him to feel em. LOL he comes over feels a bicep and says,"thats pretty good i'm gonna eat some more" Laughing he is 5
