Was gonna precook my butts for a gig Saturday. Pulled the Stumps out which I haven't used in a while and the inside is covered with mold. Its too late to start a massive clean tonight. Advice for cleaning? I took the weed burner to the inside for a little while. Would weed burner followed by pressure washer with some bleach in the water followed by weed burner again do the job?

Thanks guys! Little setbacks/disappointments like this can knock the wind out of ya. My whole schedule is thrown off now. Looks like a lack of sleep weekend. It's still better than working my day job though.

Agreed! The fire will clean and sterilize much more than the bleach will, and not leave any funky flavor in your cook. Bleach is useful when you cant use fire, like in your dwelling, but heat and flame are the best for remediating. Good luck.

I weed burnered it, then pressure washed, then sprayed Citrus Safe grill cleaner on it, then power washed again the weed burned it again. I think I got it! Thanks!

just be sure to give it a good seasoning after you heat it up and you will be good to go.

I've had the exact same experience go to prep the smoker and pop the lid only to find the mold monster has visited. But she cleans up easily enough. And yep throws your time sked off. Hope it goes well brother.
