My apologies if this isn't the proper forum to place this but I would appreciate some positive thoughts and prayers for a solid BBQ man and his family.

Jim Burg with Killer B's BBQ out of Evans, Ga. is one of the nicest and kindest BBQ competitors you will ever meet. He has had phenomenal success the last couple of years on the KCBS circuit. Those of us that know Jim know what a decent solid guy he is. Anyway, Jim fell ill over the weekend and is in critical care at the hospital dealing with a major pancreatic issue. His wife Jan is with him and could use some prayers for strength for her and prayers for healing for Jim. If you could just take a second and lift them up it would be greatly appreciated!!

Jim's wife Jan posted an update a little while ago:

"Update on Jim, he is doing really good. Moving him out of ICU. Going to a regulare room. Thank you Jesus! Thanks everyone for all the support and prayers. They are working. Keep them coming. Still a long road ahead. Love you all, Jan."
