I.ve been smokin for about 10 years now have got pretty good (to my standards Very Happy ) at it but, I've only ever done 2 briskets and they have been 4-5 years ago. Needless to say I'm getting the itch to do another one and I love smoked beef...

So what are some of the general tips or tricks or advice or??? I'm planning to do a full packer but will depend on what I can find. I'll be using an offset smoker and just salt and pepper as my "rub"

Any advice to help me make a 30 some odd dollar piece of meat delicious is appreciated Very Happy

Mikey P's BBQ, this may help. I started this thread to gather information from different areas and techniques.
