In the spirit of posting more.......

I was visiting a customer today that is close to Euharlee, GA, which is a very small town Northwest of Atlanta. The guys from the plant go there for lunch quite a bit. Rolling up from the parking lot, this place looks the part:

They apparently do some catering and contests as evidenced by the rig beside the joint:

This place is not solely a BBQ joint. They have a pretty varied menu with sandwiches and other offerings. I opted for the BBQ Sampler plate with 2 sides. You can pick what 3 meats you want (I chose pulled pork, brisket, and spareribs as per the recommendation from my waitress). For sides I chose Mac & Cheese and sweet potato tots.

I thought all in all, the food was pretty good. I got the impression that it may have been reheated, but there was definitely smoke flavor and a smokering on the meats. Everything was a little on the dry side. As a plus, the meat was served without sauce and there are 5 sauces served on the table. The meat was not heavily seasoned, but tasted good. The sweet potato tots were obviously of the frozen variety and ok, but I should have gone with the greens. Mac and Cheese was very good and you could tell homemade. The sampler is a little spendy for what you get as pictured above, about $18.

They offered the following sauces (I assume homemade; they looked and tasted so):
Original - A KC style sauce, sweet and bold
Sweet - Sweet thin sauce with heavy molasses
Hot - Probably based off Original with Habanero pepper flavoring. Spicy, but not super hot
Mustard - SOP here in this part of the country, but very mustardy, not very sweet, and a little bit of spice.....good.
Vinegar - This was probably my favorite. A perfect balance of twang, sweet, and pepper

One of the owners came around as we finished up lunch and made sure that everything was good. Our waitress was sweet and prompt. A very good lunch and I would definitely go back.
