Life has once again grabbed me deere green. I will get back on her soon enough. We bought some property and I am working on it, we also started our comp season so as the days get longer I hope to get some building time in during the week when I can.
Thank You for checking in. Very Happy

+2 Perhaps taking a cue from the old Paul Masson commercial with Orson Wells "We will sell no wine before its time" one might note k.a.m.'s signature. It'll work, it'll be fine, uhh..someday. Laughing Laughing Very Happy

No Sir. I have not had time to work on it.
On the first of the year Debbie and I closed on some property, it has taken up some of my time.
About 3 months ago My Good Friend and fellow Q'ing For A Cause co-founder Mike "Mule" Johnson was diagnosed with cancer. Mike passed away on the 13th of this month it has been hard on all of us. We are holding a Benefit for his Family Honoring our Friend and the work that he did.
I have been busy building a discada and UDS for the auction, along with other benefits I was committed to.

This is Mule.
Rest in Peace my Friend.

Last weekend I was asked to cook for another Cancer benefit and I gladly did.
My life is full right now. The new cooker will have to wait. I hope y'all understand.

Kevin, great looking builds for a great cause. Robin and I were very sorry to hear of Mike's passing and I know its been a tough time for everyone that he was around. Lot of things in life are more important than a cooker build...hopefully the masses can realize that and also know that a guy who is pushing 24,000 posts will more than likely update and post pics of his build when there is progress to be shared.

Brother, you know my phone is always on if you need anything.

RIP Mule

KAM, I am sorry for your loss. The discada and drum are two very nice items that should help very well with the fundraiser. This world is a better place because of people like you. God Bless.

Sorry to hear about the loss of such a great friend and man.

Psalm 139:13-16

Sounds like a man who was made to touch others lives in a positive light (verse 16, God's plan was written for such a man before a single day came to be).

Thoughts and prayers to you and all who are mourning this loss.

TrailerBuilder: I sure hope you understand that I was just trying to get a "rib" in to see how things are going. If I didn't respect Kevin and his input/work I would not be posting to his thread. I would hope you understand that I get there're lots of things in life that are more important than a cooker build....that is why I asked if life was allowing any progress on the build.

My hand is healing pretty good my therapy is going well. I decided a little fabrication may be what is needed to speed my healing process.
I got the ball hitch, axle, and fenders mounted Yesterday.

Today I mounted the tail light boxes, put the front fender toe step on and mounted the jack.

Right now I am trying to decide on whether to start my canopy or mount the cooker. I am probably going to start the canopy but time will tell.

Glad to see you back on the project again! Lookin' good! Yeah, A little exercise to the digits might be a good thing.
