Nothing wrong with a square face cooker. A coffin door? Climb inside and nail it shut. You will be better off. _________________ Backyarder

NICE.
So I bought a jeep awhile back. Part of the purchase was this trailer 4'4" wide and 7'9" long. I stripped it from the wooden deck. I never looked at the trailer to close. Brought it home and parked it for about 2 years. So back to removing the wood. I couldn't believe my eyes when i seen what some idiots had done.
Look closely
Now I have another trailer i can use (white). Just have to cut 18 inches off the rear to get the firebox closer to the axle. Someone already placed expanded metal as a deck. My old man welded a mount on the front to carry his motorcycle.
So i am at a dilemma. Use the white trailer or the black. Either way I am going to be looking at some time behind the grinder. |
It appears they took the bounce right out of that axle. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

WINNER not only that. Someone welded 2 pieces of 1.5 tube together. And the bottom 2 leafs on the left side are broke. |

No need to worry about broke springs if the axle cant move. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

Update crazy crazy couple weeks
Got the door cut. Was scared to lay a slim cut disk. After 6 disks and 30 minutes. Left the corners and a bridge in the middle. Checked to make sure the tank was back to outside temp. Was cool out so didnt take long. Cut 1 corner then the bottom bridge. Hit the next corner and PING. A few explicit words flew. Oh well had to get it done. Finished the cuts. Had 1 small opps hanging the door in place. This gave me the opportunity to take a look at it. HOLY s--t 1 corner straightened 1/16 of an inch. I think a chain and a bottle jack and about a 6 pack i should have it beaten in to submission. Making a slow progress this week. Going to hit it hard Tuesday. I'll be sure to post pictures. |
