Middle aged, living in SE Texas. Been cooking Q since I was 6.
Love any kind of Q but really stuff from Texas, Carolina's, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi out west. I guess I'm not too picky.
Brisket, ribs, whole wild hogs, pork shoulders, chickens, venison, any wild game, and of coarse sausage.

I have never taken a picture of my meat.
Well there is a first for everything. I like to let my taste buds do the talking.
I am usually limited what I cook by space. If it were up to me, I would cook a weeks worth of Q at a time, but the family gets tired of it. You know.........LEFTOVERS
I do try to have a sense of humor............I guess I wouldn't be alive today, without it.

I am not from Nederland. I moved here in 1982, after college to work at Union 76 refinery. |
