Hurricane Arthur

I'd hate to be on the coast about right now. We're getting some thunderstorms thrown our way from it. Fortunately this is going to be out of here today and the rest of the weekend is supposed to be pretty nice... at least for us. I'm looking forward to a peaceful July 4th with some barbecuing and beer drinking going on. You guys in the way of this thing batten down the hatches and take care.

Been a long time since I've had a hurricane party! Twisted Evil Seriously, I hope all goes well for everyone effected by the storm.

Our rental agency said that "no news is good news" as far as hearing from them after the storm.

Nobody on the roads right now.

Surf cam. We know a lot of lifeguards. They all surf. Very Happy

I really like OBX but have always said I would not want to be there for a big storm especially if it is over the sound side that area is about flat level with the water and everything is connected by bridges if one goes and you're out by Hatteras your pretty much screwed for getting out.

I was thinking about the woman on Beach Front Bargain Hunt that saved all her life and bought an ocean front cottage where she can't rebuild.

Season 1: Kitty Hawk Hideaway. The house is Pirate Queen.

"Can you imagine every time a hurricane came through the area? You'd be worried about your house."

God's sense of humor: he sent the first hurricane since she bought Pirate Queen pretty much directly over her house.
