Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

It was the classic Chicago/Illinois move.

Legalize concealed carry, but have so many exclusions that you're lucky if your home is still OK.

Nice! I looked long and hard at the XD's and the only thing that was a deal breaker was that hand grip safety. I just couldn't get use to it. I went for a couple S&W M&P's instead.

Come on down to NC, we'll CC or OC to your heart's content.

Sweet! Nice pea-shooter Laughing Laughing I'm very pro-2nd, and I'm glad Illinois is starting to come out of the stone age regarding their gun laws. Y'all still have a ways to go, but ya gotta start somewhere, I guess Laughing

Been thinking about an XD or XDM as well. Let us know how it holds up for you. From everything I hear they are dependable guns. The only reason I haven't pulled the trigger is because I shot a S&W 686 .357 Mag and was really impressed. Thinking a nice revolver would be an excellent hand me down when my kids are my age.

That's a nice looking piece. I give it a look a few months back but decided on the Ruger SR40C, I love it and never leave home without it.

I thinks it's more like POS state.. Only reason I'm still here is 3 1/2 more years to get 35 in company. Confused

I like it better than my Glock. Powder River precision sells the trigger for about $125. There is no more takeup or creep in the trigger, Increased accuracy by about 20%. I never thought anything for carry would beat my glock. I have a 5" 1911 but don't carry that. The new trigger in the XD is similar to the 1991 trigger. Enjoy and have fun!
BTW the install takes 15 minutes on YouTube takes me 2 hours
