I've had two Mavericks for a little over a year. They have worked fine at a range of 30' to 50' through walls/glass...When I have had problems with reception I have found that batteries were often the first culprit, but that other radio-remote devices in the household might be contributing. I have a wireless weather unit and a wireless LAN that I keep the receivers away from.
Now the fact that one is consistantly 13 degrees higher than the other is a bit frustrating... |

I range tested mine togay the antenna mod and got 135 feet. That is about a 40% increase over the less than a 100 I had before. _________________ Vertical Brick pit wood burner

I also have a wireless weather station (Davis) Maybe that's the culprit.
