Welcome to the ring hoogy, looking forward to seeing some pics of your cooks and your cooker. Smile
You will need a host like photobucket for adding pics. Please make sure your pics are no larger than 640 x 480 or our moderator SoEzzy will take them down.
Here are some links that will help. Very Happy
Tutorial.

Howdy hoogy. Welcome to The Smoke Ring.

Here's a topic on how to post photos; http://www.thesmokering.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4096

The short version of that is you will have to host your photos on a web site like PhotoBucket, Flickr, or elsewhere. Most of these sites will generate BBCode to link to your picture. That code will look something like this;

Code:
[img]https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7362/13175601263_4e875e982c_o.jpg[/img]

Alternately you can paste the link to your photo, select it in the editor, and then click the IMG button. That will place the image tags around your link.

Important!!! Make sure that your photos don't exceed 650 pixels on the long side. That's a limitation here at TSR to keep the web page from getting in a disordered state.

Please make pictures no longer than 650px on the longest side!

Please read PMPNLT650pxOTLS!

If you resize before you upload to PB, you'll never need to have them turned back into links! Wink

Welcome to The Ring! But you need to pay attention when people give you advice about your pic size. 650px on the longest size is not a request or suggestion, it's the RULE.

Welcome to the ring hoogy, good to see another northern New Englander. This forum is what got me started with BBQ, lots of good folks who are very willing to share their knowledge.
