7 unreleased alternate versions of songs from ZEP I, II, and III plus one song never released, coming June 3rd. I've been a big Zeppelin fan since I was a kid. Love every song, and have multiple versions of every album/CD. I even have a vinyl record called 'The New Yardbirds' from 1968 (69?).

Here's an article with a couple of samples.

Might be a loud night, as I'm thinking about cranking some III, Houses Of The Holy, and Presence. Then of course I'll need some Black Sabbath, Montrose, Stones, Who, and AC/DC to completely piss off the neighbors Laughing Laughing

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I'm a huge Zeppelin fan.
To me, every album is a "greatest hits" release.

My birthday's coming up next month. I know what I'm asking for Very Happy

Sounds like you've got a night of great rock & roll planned.

Led Zeppelin, The Who, Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, AC/DC (pre Brian Johnson). I love it!

And a record of " The New Yardbirds".... That's very cool.

Yup. I do have Back in Black, and For Those About to Rock we Salute You that I like a few songs from, but ALL the Bon Scott stuff kicks butt.

Its hard to choose, but I'd have to say that Dirty Deeds and High Voltage are two of my favorite albums

Rock & Roll Singer and Live Wire are actually two of my ringtones..

There was an awesome AC/DC exhibit at the EMP in Seattle last year. They had a lot of cool memorabilia and personal items of the band on display. Among the items was one of Bon's leather jackets and a couple of Angus' costumes. Those are some tiny dudes! And from what I've read, they liked to fight too. It was really cool to see that stuff up close.

Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time, and I still remember seeing Black Sabbath back about 1970 while I was stationed in Germany, pretty good memories considering what I had consumed that night

In May 1973, two weekends in a row at the old Kesar Stadium in San Francisco were Led Zepplin & then New Riders of the Purple Sage, Waylon Jennings Band w/ Willie Nelson & the Grateful Dead......
My best friend went to the now very famous Zepplin show & all the rest of us went to the other......

Zepplin was crazy.....people on rooftops all around trying to see/hear it........49 seconds of video is all that exists

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6l4kXOBoL-M&list=PLShKZd3i_lFC5G52e4ERm-IyKNmSiceBC&index=1

The show we were at you could walk to within 30 feet of the stage before the crowd got thick.....two speaker towers on the 50 yard line.......Dead played SIX hours......we got our money's worth & my buddy got his historical perspective............

1 hour of Dead, straight thru from their 3rd set.....audio only:

On another fun musical note......check out this guy in a London train station, on a publicly open piano.......

This'll knock ya silly !!!!!

WOW! Thanx for sharing that Ken. I like hearing some good old honky tonk piano music better than any other style.
