Hi all. I have been lurking and learning here for a while, decided to join the party. I have always preferred outdoor cookin' to anything, be it grilling. bbq, dutch oven or trash can turkey.

Until now,BBQ has always been for friends and family on a smaller scale.
Yesterday I took the leap from a Weber kettle to a Lang 84 deluxe w/grill. Definitely a learning curve ahead.
I currently operate two food concessions (non BBQ) at large festivals around the north east, as well as doing some hospitality catering for the same events. The plan is to make BBQ my third by the end of this season.

That's it for now, thanks for all I have and will continue to gain from this site. Will post pics next week when the beast is fired up.

Welcome Quietman! Nice choice on the Lang. I was liking at a 60 until the wife put the brakes on it. I look forward to seeing your cooks. Good Smoking!
