I don't know anything about this Sterling guy other than what the news is reporting but it sounds like he's a real douche bag and had it coming for a long time. Evidently he's gotten by because he's ultra rich and owns half of down town.

Now, does the punishment fit the crime? What was said was in the context of a personal discussion. It seems the PC crowd is doing flips in celebration over all this. I'm not justifying his actions / words but I can't imagine that what he said is exclusive just to him. He just happens to be a high profile guy ripe for a crucifixion.

Yes everyone is coming down hard on this guy right now. I just have a feeling this is not over and something tells me the NBA will get in a little trouble from this guy and his lawyers. I hope Silver did a little homework on how to handle this situation and not just do what everyone wants him to do. Don't know my laws too good but does an illegal tape-recording need consent from both parties to be put out there? Just saying. He's an idiot yes, but I don't think he's stupid. I wish laws would change one day and tell TMZ to start finally minding their own business. They've ruined many lives with more to come. We all get up in the morning to make a buck, and still we can't go home and make comments about life. I guess I better start watching what I say cause TMZ is probably hiding out in my washroom. God I hate those guys.
