Hey guys,
I'm in Seattle for a couple days for work. Any one have any good recommendations for food?
Also, any tips on buying some salmon and getting it sent home? Was told that Pike Place market may be too expensive...,
Thanks,

What part of town are you going to be in?
What type of food are you interested in? How much do you want to spend?
As for the salmon, I'm pretty sure that everywhere is going to be expensive. You'll probably want to call around and get some pricing. It may just come down to convenience.
How much / what kind of salmon do you want? I might have a couple pieces in my freezer I'd be willing to part with.
The Seattle Fish Company in West Seattle might be worth a visit. They sell and ship fresh seafood, and they also have a small dining room with some damn good food. _________________ save the neck for me, Clark - Cousin Eddie |

Thanks suckaass, I ended up having to cut my trip short, so I didn't get to really do anything.
I have a buddy/cousin who him and his wife really enjoy salmon on the grill, and I was hoping to get him a real nice filet that I could send back. I went to the Pike Place Market but that stuff is crazy expensive (like $40/lb.).......It's not a big deal. Sounds like it might not quite be in season yet? I dunno anything about salmon, but sounds like halibut is what's in right now.
Anyways, it sure is beautiful out there.........
