Thanks all...I've had the photos up before. I ran out of summer and didn't get the darn thing finished It will be done as soon as I think I'm man enough to go out and "get er done". It was about -10 this morning when I got up. I do have 1/4" diamond plate aluminum(sp) on the bed/deck of it now. Since I'll be firin' it up tomorrow, I'll get an up to date photo posted. When it is warm enough to paint, I plan on doing all those rivets in either red or yellow . Then all I have left is the fenders. I appreciate the comments...

Here are a couple of shots of my cooking trailer and cookers. This is a rig my team has had for a few years. We built the cookers and the trailer, thanks to some good friends that managed a steel fab plant.
Here is a look at the cookers on the trailer from back at the 2004 Memphis in May world championship. We finished work on the trailer the Saturday before the Sunday load-in for the contest, didn't even have the lettering yet.

Big Tom- Nice sundeck! If you could park that thing infield at a NASCAR event and fire it up, you could probably make enought to pay for the tickets and see the race!
River City, how much fuel do you consume during a typical 12-14 cook? |

During a average 12-15 hour cook and dependant upon the outside temperatures I will use about 20 lbs. of Kingsford and 15 sticks of oak. Sometimes I alternate wood/charcoal. In the beginning I used too much fuel and kept it too hot. I added a BBQ Guru with twin 25 CFM fans. That helped a bunch. |

TonyG, that is a neat looking cooker. I like the riveted seams on the tank. What was it in the first life?
Definately will be a sharp one when you get it all touched up and polished! _________________ Big Tom

I'm sure both you guys are plenty smart, just have not had the opportunity to play in a metal shop! _________________ BBQMAN

Actually Mike, I WAS smart enough to take a home econ class instead of metal shop in high school. More of a "target-rich" environment! _________________ Mike
