Hi guys,

I'm currently undergoing my first build and will be using recycled propane cylinders.

My question is once I have finished and begin to use the cooker, is the metal in any way contanimated by the gas it once held? If so is it bad for your health? And how would you go about uncontanimating it?

Thanks!

Welcome to the ring gruntle, looking forward to seeing some pics of your cooks and following your cooker project. Smile
Some folks burn out the inside once the doors are cut out I do not. Once the cooker is built I usually have the inside sweep blasted but if I do not do that I spray the inside down with simple green and then hose it out really well. Then I season the cooker.
I hope this helps. Very Happy
